Manage the full order lifecycle from quotation through collection, ensuring accuracy and timely follow‑through

Select and specify appropriate products using FCX and vendor‑supplied tools and software

Respond promptly and professionally to customer inquiries via phone and email

Enter customer orders and issue order acknowledgements with precision

Review customer purchase orders for special conditions, documentation requirements, and accuracy

Verify product availability, confirm ship dates, and communicate updates proactively

Increase order size by suggesting related items, explaining product features, and reviewing customer buying history

Process and expedite orders, customer returns, and vendor returns accurately and efficiently

Locate products, create purchase orders, and follow up with vendors to ensure timely delivery

Negotiate pricing and delivery terms with vendors when needed

Partner closely with Outside Sales to support customer needs, execute transactions, and maintain high service levels

Collaborate effectively with the inside sales team, sharing workload and assisting with incoming calls

Maximize gross margin by ensuring the company is compensated for technical expertise, problem‑solving, and value‑added service

Review open order reports and take action on items at risk of missing promised delivery dates

Perform additional duties as assigned by management

1–3+ years of experience in customer service, inside sales, or a related industry preferred

Strong communication skills with the ability to build rapport and maintain positive customer relationships

Ability to multitask effectively in a fast‑paced environment

Solid problem‑solving skills and attention to detail

Experience reviewing purchase orders and processing transactions accurately

Comfortable using sales tools, ERP systems, and vendor software for product selection and order entry

Ability to negotiate pricing and delivery when required
