Job Full Description
Hours: Monday - Friday, 7:00am - 3:30pm
Pay: $20.00 - $24.00/HR
Duties:
- Manage the day-to-day operations of the tool crib to ensure tools, materials, and supplies are available to support production schedules.
- Maintain accurate inventory levels of tooling, production supplies, and equipment.
- Coordinate the ordering, receiving, stocking, and distribution of tools and consumable supplies.
- Monitor inventory usage and plan ahead to prevent shortages and production disruptions.
- Assist with tool maintenance, repairs, replacements, and tracking of tooling assets.
- Work closely with production, maintenance, and purchasing teams to ensure operational needs are met.
- Read and interpret blueprints to identify tooling and production requirements.
- Maintain organized records of inventory, tooling, and supply transactions.
- Ensure the tool crib remains clean, organized, and safe.
- Follow company policies, procedures, and safety standards.
- Support continuous improvement efforts related to inventory control and production efficiency.
Qualifications:
- Must be at least 18 years of age.
- High School Diploma or equivalent required.
- Minimum of 2 years of profile extrusion experience preferred.
- Previous experience in tooling, inventory control, manufacturing support, or tool crib operations is a plus.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities with minimal supervision.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to plan ahead and ensure materials, supplies, and equipment are available according to production schedules.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints.
- Strong computer, recordkeeping, and inventory management skills preferred.

Ability to frequently bend, stoop, reach, twist, push, pull, and move materials throughout the facility.

Ability to frequently lift and carry up to 50 lbs.

Ability to stand and walk frequently throughout the shift, including periods up to 8 hours.
