DIRECT HIRE OPPORTUNITY!
Hours: Monday - Friday, 4:00pm - 2:30am
Pay: $24.11 - $35.36/HR, based on experience
Duties:
- Set up and operate CNC lathes to produce high-quality precision machined components.
- Read and interpret blueprints, engineering drawings, GD&T specifications, and work instructions.
- Edit and troubleshoot CNC programs using Fanuc controls as needed.
- Perform machine setups, tooling changes, offsets, and production changeovers.
- Operate Doosan Lynx 2600SY and Doosan Puma 3100SY CNC lathes with sub-spindles and live tooling.
- Monitor machine performance and make adjustments to maintain quality and production efficiency.
- Inspect finished parts using precision measuring instruments to verify dimensions and tolerances.
- Perform first-piece, in-process, and final inspections.
- Troubleshoot machining, tooling, and program-related issues.
- Maintain accurate production and quality documentation.
- Work closely with quality, engineering, and production teams to meet manufacturing goals.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
- Follow all company safety standards and manufacturing procedures.
Qualifications:
- Previous CNC Lathe machining experience required.
- Experience setting up and operating CNC turning centers.
- Strong understanding of Fanuc I Series Plus controls and G-Code programming.
- Experience with CNC programming edits, offsets, and troubleshooting.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, engineering drawings, and technical specifications.
- Experience using precision measuring equipment such as calipers, micrometers, bore gauges, thread gauges, and indicators.
- Familiarity with Mastercam software is a plus.
- Experience with live tooling, sub-spindles, multi-axis machining, and tight tolerance machining preferred.
- Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving abilities.
- Excellent attention to detail and commitment to quality.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Reliable attendance and strong work ethic.
