Job Full Description
Our client, a global manufacturing company, is seeking a General Accountant to support its U.S. operations while working closely with the Finance and Accounting team in Italy.
Salary: $70,000 per year
Schedule: Full-Time, Monday-Friday, 8-Hour Shift
Training: Initial in-person training in Italy
Responsibilities:
- Manage Accounts Receivable, including invoicing and cash collections
- Process Accounts Payable invoices and support payment scheduling
- Serve as a key liaison between U.S. customers/suppliers and the Accounting team in Italy
- Provide administrative support to the General Manager
- Assist with HR and payroll-related activities
- Maintain accurate financial records and support daily accounting operations
Qualifications:
- 3+ years of accounting or finance experience
- Knowledge of Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable processes
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Word
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Ability to work independently and collaborate with international teams
- High School Diploma required; additional accounting education is a plus
- Italian language skills are preferred but not required
