Job Summary
As a Healthcare Customer Service Representative, you will be the vital link between patients and healthcare providers, ensuring that every interaction is positive and productive. Your role will involve addressing inquiries, guiding patients through their healthcare journeys, and providing essential support in a fast-paced environment. With your exceptional communication skills and a commitment to service excellence, you will help create a welcoming atmosphere for all.
What you’ll do
- Respond to patient inquiries via phone and email professionalism and empathy.
- Assist patients in navigating their healthcare options, including appointment scheduling and insurance verification.
- Maintain accurate patient records through efficient data entry and management systems.
- Utilize your knowledge of medical terminology to effectively communicate with both patients and healthcare professionals.
- Handle sensitive information with confidentiality while adhering to HIPAA regulations.
- Analyze patient feedback to identify areas for improvement in service delivery.
Basic qualifications
- Strong customer service experience with a focus on building rapport with patients.
- VERY STRONG computer skills for data entry and record management.
- ABILITY TO MULTITASK MULTIPLE ITEMS AT A TIME!
Preferred qualifications
- Previous experience working in a healthcare call center setting
- Previous experience in a fast paced medical office setting
- Familiarity with medical terminology
