CNC Milling Machinist January 28, 2026

Located in Antioch, IL

Pay: $22-$28 BOE

A local machining manufacturer is looking for a CNC Mill Setup Operator.

Requirements:

Minimum of 5 year of experience setting up CNC vertical or horizontal machining centers
Experience on Haas control is a plus
Experience setting up 5 axis machining centers is a plus
Experience with Haas Renishaw probe systems a plus
Must have good understanding of drafting, dimensioning and tolerances
Must have excellent setup skills and knowledge of best practices (including tooling and fixturing)
Must be able to use all shop inspection tools to inspect finished parts as tight as +/- .0002 ensuring company quality standards are kept.

Duties:

Setup multiple jobs daily and make manual adjustments to keep parts within specified tolerances
Build tooling and fixtures for pre-staging
Inspect parts throughout the day
Operate machines running production jobs and make manual adjustments to keep parts within specified tolerances
Must be able to perform a multitude of daily shop task and maintenance
