Job Overview
We are seeking an Assistant Construction Superintendent to support the construction of a fitness center in the Waukegan, IL area. The ideal candidate has general construction experience, can read plans and blueprints, and is comfortable performing hands-on labor and maintaining a clean, safe jobsite.
- Assist the Construction Superintendent with daily construction activities at a fitness center project.
- Read and understand construction plans, blueprints, and specifications.
- Perform hands-on construction labor and assist with general building tasks as needed.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe jobsite while following OSHA and company safety standards.
- Support the construction team with daily jobsite needs and other duties as assigned.
Requirements:
- General building/construction experience required.
- Ability to read construction plans and blueprints.
- Willingness to perform hands-on labor and jobsite cleanup.
- OSHA 30 certification preferred.
