Job Full Description
Must have previous experience working with wood or in a woodworking environment.
Hours: 1st Shift M-F 7am-3:30pm
- Sand, stain, seal, paint, and finish wood products and components.
- Prepare wood surfaces by sanding, filling, masking, and cleaning.
- Apply stains, paints, lacquers, varnishes, and other wood-finishing products.
- Operate spray guns and other finishing equipment.
- Mix and match stains, paints, and finishes to achieve the required color and appearance.
- Inspect finished products for scratches, imperfections, color consistency, and overall quality.
- Perform touch-ups and rework as needed.
- Follow drawings, work orders, and customer specifications.
- Maintain finishing equipment, spray guns, and work areas.
- Properly handle and store paints, stains, solvents, and other finishing materials.
- Follow all safety procedures, including proper PPE and ventilation requirements.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and dust-free finishing area.
- Meet production schedules while maintaining high-quality standards.
- Work with other woodworking and production team members to complete projects.
