Job Full Description
1st Shift: Monday - Friday, 6:30am - 3:00pm
2nd Shift: Monday - Thursday, 2:30pm - 1:00am
3rd Shift: Monday - Thursday, 10:30pm - 9:00am
Duties / Responsibilities:
- Work on production equipment that includes extruders and braiders.
- Regularly inspect and evaluate equipment to ensure it operates efficiently and safely.
- Follow recommended maintenance schedule for cleaning and lubricating equipment.
- Maintain records on equipment status and maintenance.
- Perform preventative maintenance on all equipment and assets per a set schedule.
- Follow safety rules and always wear PPE.
- Perform other maintenance related work as assigned and required.
Required Skills / Abilities:
- Ability to operate hand tools and mechanical equipment.
- Ability to read / interpret technical documents.
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
- Basic welding skills are a plus.
- Bilingual English/Spanish is preferred.
- Willingness to work overtime when needed.
Education and Experience:
- 1-3 years of related maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment.
- Any training or certifications are a plus.
