Job Full Description
The Specialized Recruiting Group of Olympia, WA is now hiring for a Direct of Resource Development position for a non profit located in Olympia, WA. This is a Direct Hire position with compensation ranging from $75,000-$80,000/yr DOE.

Duties:

- Lead the development and execution of fundraising strategies to meet organizational goals.
- Write compelling grant proposals to secure funding from various sources.
- Negotiate terms and agreements with donors and sponsors to maximize contributions.
- Manage estate planning initiatives to encourage long-term giving.
- Utilize software tools such as Raiser’s Edge for donor management and tracking.
- Develop and implement digital marketing campaigns to promote fundraising events and initiatives.
- Plan and execute events that engage current donors and attract new supporters.
- Foster relationships with university partners, community leaders, and potential stakeholders.
Requirements:

- Proven experience in grant proposal writing and securing funding from diverse sources.
- Strong negotiation skills with a track record of successful donor engagement.
- Familiarity with estate planning processes related to charitable giving.
- Proficient in using software tools for relationship management, particularly Raiser’s Edge or similar platforms.
- Experience in public relations, demonstrating the ability to effectively communicate organizational goals.
- Background in digital marketing strategies that drive engagement and support for fundraising efforts.
- Event planning experience, showcasing the ability to organize successful fundraising events
