Express Employment Professionals is partnering with a Construction Company located in Olympia, WA, to fill a Carpenter role. This is an exciting opportunity for someone to join a growing team.
This position is Evaluation-to-Hire, with a consistent schedule of Days, Monday-Friday. Compensation starts at $25.00-$35.00/hr,
Key Responsibilities:
- Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and project specifications
- Build, install, repair, and maintain wooden structures, furniture, and fixtures
- Measure, cut, assemble, and join wood, plywood, and other materials accurately
- Construct and install frameworks, forms, and supports for construction projects
- Operate hand tools, power tools, and machinery safely and effectively
- Inspect finished work for quality, accuracy, and compliance with specifications
- Collaborate with team members and supervisors to meet project deadlines
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area
What You Bring:
- Experience: 2–4 years of carpentry experience, including building, installing, and repairing wood structures and fixtures
- Valid Driver’s License & Reliable Transportation – Must have a clean driving record and dependable way to get to job sites
- Physical Stamina & Strength: Ability to lift and carry heavy materials (up to 50–100 lbs), stand, walk, bend, kneel, climb ladders or scaffolding, and work outdoors in varying weather conditions
- Skilled & Detail-Oriented: Proficient with hand and power tools, measuring accurately, cutting, assembling, and ensuring high-quality work
- Independent & Self-Motivated: Able to work with minimal supervision, take initiative, and proactively solve problems
- Reliable & Punctual: Consistently arrives on time and meets project deadlines
- Team-Oriented & Communicative: Works well with coworkers and supervisors to complete projects efficiently
- Safety-Conscious: Follows OSHA and company safety standards, maintaining a safe work environment at all times.
