Job Full Description
Express Employment is now hiring for an Engineer at a local company based out of Tumwater, WA. This is an evaluation-permanent opportunity. The schedule is Monday-Friday, 40hrs per week, day shift. The compensation for this position will start at $27-$29/hr DOE. This company offers a benefits package to include Medical/Dental/Vision, paid holidays, vacation, and a 401(k) retirement plan with company match up to 4%.
Job Duties:
- Engineer complete production and installation packets using AutoCAD and Microvellum
- Interpret architectural plans and specifications to ensure compliance
- Create detailed documentation to support fabrication and installation
- Coordinate with drafting, project management, and production teams
- Utilize Bluebeam for drawing review and coordination
- Maintain organized engineering documentation and project files
- Thoroughly review work for accuracy, constructability, and compliance
Job Requirements:
- AutoCAD proficiency required
- Casework engineering experience required
- Microvellum experience preferred
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel preferred
- Bluebeam experience preferred
- Familiarity with LEED, FSC, FGI, and AWI guidelines is a plus
- Strong problem-solving ability and technical aptitude
- High level of attention to detail and focus
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Positive attitude and ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment
