About the Job
Express Employment Professionals is partnering with an Apartment Complex located in Lacey, WA, to fill a Facilities Maintenance role. This is an exciting opportunity for someone with these skills to add some extra income for a short period.
This position is Temporary and expected to last about a week, with a consistent schedule of Monday-Friday, from 8:30AM-5PM. Compensation range is $25-35/hr.
Key Responsibilities:
- Completed apartment unit turnovers, preparing vacant units for new resident move-ins.
- Performed maintenance repairs including drywall, painting, plumbing, carpentry, and basic electrical work.
- Troubleshot and repaired appliances, fixtures, doors, windows, and building systems.
- Completed preventative maintenance inspections and responded to maintenance work orders.
- Conducted final quality inspections to ensure units met company standards and were move-in ready.
Requirements
- Minimum of 2–3 years of apartment maintenance, facilities maintenance, or related experience.
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
- Ability to successfully pass a background check and pre-employment drug screen.
- Ability to lift, carry, push, and pull up to 50 pounds regularly.
- Strong knowledge of general maintenance, including drywall, painting, plumbing, carpentry, and basic electrical repairs.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience completing apartment unit turns and move-in/move-out repairs.
- Ability to troubleshoot maintenance issues and complete work orders independently.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.
- Excellent time management and organizational skills.
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
