Express Employment International is thanking four local nonprofit organizations for their efforts assisting Oklahomans during the COVID-19 pandemic by donating $25,000 to each organization. Overall, the international staffing agency donated $100,000 in funds to these partner entities as part of their Giving Tuesday efforts.
"The past year has been tough for so many and we are grateful to these groups for stepping up and answering the call to help," Express President Bob Funk said. "As is the Oklahoma Standard, we had no doubt the community would come together to help our fellow Oklahomans in their greatest time of need."
The four recipient organizations include:
- Heartline 211: Connects Oklahomans with help, hope and information 24 hours a day.
- The Homeless Alliance: Works to end long-term homelessness in Oklahoma.
- Mental Health Association Oklahoma: Dedicated to promoting mental health and the equity of access to mental health care through advocacy, education, research, service and housing.
- Palomar: Provides protection, hope and healing to victims of violence and abuse.
The contribution is made possible by Express Employment International's Philanthropic Committee and aligns with the company's belief in providing hope through employment. Job seekers are encouraged to find their local Express office at ExpressPros.com, view open positions and fill out an application.
"Our hope is that these contributions continue to support the important nonprofit services available to all Oklahomans as we recover from the COVID-19 pandemic," Express CEO Bill Stoller said. "We look forward to the positive impact these funds will make in the lives of so many across our great state."
